Kaunas, Lithuania in the Zalgiris Arena plays host to The European Championships in figure skating this week. The events started back on Wednesday, leading to today where the Free Dance event takes center stage. The best professional figure skaters in the world are all participating in this event with eyes on either getting to the Olympic Games for the first time or getting back there again. Gold medalists Adam Siao Him Fa and Anastasia Gubanova are two of the former Olympic Gold Medalists in action looking to prove they are still the best in the world at their craft of figure skating.

Not only did Siao Him Fa win the Olympic Gold Medal in this event, he won The European Championships last year as well. He is one of the favorites here today and in the next Olympic Games to take home gold again.
There are several other talented names in this event with multiple previous winners and Olympians competing. Loena Hendrickx is a two-time Olympian and the reigning Bronze Medalist here along with fellow Olympians Marco Fabbri and Charlene Guignard who are competing for their second consecutive European Titles here today.
This event has 167 figure skaters from all over the world competing to show they are the best at The European Championships. They are also all building up their individual and/or team resumes to make a run to the Olympic Games for their respective countries in Los Angeles, California in 2026.
